About This Journal

Al-Qadisiyah Journal of Pure Science (QJPS) College of Science University of Al-Qadisiyah, Iraq. QJPS is an open-access, interdisciplinary, and single-blind peer-reviewed journal consolidating research activities in all experimental and theoretical aspects of pure sciences. It is dedicated to the latest advancement in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Mathematics, and their related subfields. The journal publishes original papers and reviews on, but not limited to Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, and their related subfields.

Publishing Schedule

The journal is quarterly published with 4 issues per volume each year. Issues are predominantly published in March, June, September, and December.

Plagiarism:

QJPS take issues of copyright infringement, plagiarism, or other breaches of best practice in publication very seriously. Each submitted article is checked with plagiarism-checking software. Any article that exceeds the permissible ratio of plagiarism is rejected.

Article Processing Charges

QJPS is a self-supporting journal and does not receive funding from any private or government institution/ organization. QJPS is solely financed by the fees received from the authors.

  1. Fees are free for researchers from outside Iraq.
  2. The publication processing fees for the Iraqi author are about (90) thousand Iraqi Dinar (ID). Thus, the fees should cover the cost of plagiarism checking, reviewers, and publication charge. A fee is taken in two stages; Part one (Article Submission Charges) when submission of the manuscripts (50% of the fee, and not get back) use to cover plagiarism checking, and reviewers' payment. The second part {Article Processing Charges (APCs)} is taken after the paper is accepted for publication. When a paper is accepted for publication the author is issued with an invoice for payment of a publication processing fee.
  3. Fees are going to be reduced to 50% in case one of the researchers is from outside Iraq.
  4. Fees are to be paid through Zain cash on the manager's phone, 07821338166.

Copyright

The QJPS is an OPEN ACCESS journal. No subscription fees are charged to readers for accessing the journal or reading articles. QJPS provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Articles available freely online are more often cited and have a greater impact than those not freely available. Immediately after publication, authors may post papers on the author's personal or institutional archival Web site.

All articles are permanently free for everyone to read, download, copy and distribute. Permitted reuse is defined by the following user licenses: Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives (CC BY-NC-ND). .

Archiving

QJPS is preserved in CLOCKSS and Portico, the two leading preservation archives that guarantee persistent access for the very long term. Articles also receive Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) from the CrossRef organization to ensure they can always be found.

Indexed in Google Scholar, Publons, Crossref, Arcif Analytics, Iraqi Academic, Scientific Journals and EBSCO.
