Author’s Guidelines

Overview

Interested in submitting to this journal? We recommend that you review the About the Journal pagefor the journal’s section policies, as well as this page. Authors need to register with the journal prior to submitting or, if already registered, can simply log in and begin the submission process.

Submissions in electronic form are requested. Manuscripts prepared for publication should be sent in a Microsoft -Word format using the on-line the Editorial Manager submission system.

Editors in Chief will preliminary consider submitted manuscripts, and assign them to appropriate and available section editors. Contributed papers should be written in English. The title of the paper and the name(s) of the author(s) should be followed by a short abstract, keywords, and the AMS Subject Classification of the paper.

During the submission process, the corresponding author has to insert all names of coauthors keeping the order of names in the same way as it is in the submitted Word file.

Article Format

  1. The journal publishes results of various researches from both inside and outside Iraq. All the researches subject for a peer review.
  2. All manuscripts submitted for consideration of publication in this journal must not have been published or accepted for publication elsewhere.
  3. All manuscripts submitted for consideration of publication in this journal must be submitted through the Editorial Manager submission system or send via the journal E-mail.
  4. All manuscripts submitted for the publication in this journal must be printed via Microsoft Word 2010 system or above and they must not exceed 20 pages including all tables and figures and indexes.
  5. Al-Qadisiyah Journal for Pure Sciences Will have copyright of the papers.
  6. The researcher (researchers) undertakes a full responsibility about the contents of the submitted research.
  7. The journal welcomes discussions about the published subjects where should introduce within two-month period from the date of publication, and no more than two pages. The discussions and their appropriate answers by the authors if any will be published in the subsequent published issue.

  1. Page size: must be 8.5×11 inches (216 × 279 mm2) size.
  2. The margins: The margins on the left and right must be 16.7 mm and the bottom must be 15.5mm while the margin on top should be 12.6 mm, including tables and figures.
  3. Font Style: Times New Roman.
  4. Space text: 11.5 pt space your text and any space after the supreme footnote or any paragraph should not be left empty.
  5. Title of the paper: size 16 (Bold) and capitalize the first letter.
  6. Name or names of the authors: Lowercase 10 pt, bold.
  7. Headlines: The section headings are arranged by numbers, 12 pt, bold.
  8. Subtitles: Lowercase size 12 pt, bold.
  9. Text: Lowercase size 12 pt.

  11. Equations:
    Equations and formulae should be typed in Mathtype, and numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals in parentheses on the right hand side of the page. They should also be separated from the surrounding text by one space.
  12. Figures and tables:
    Must be referred to in the text in bold for example (Fig. 1) and the title must appear under the Figure in lowercase letters size 8 pt. bold . The title of Table must appear above the table written in lowercase letters size 8 pt. bold. for example (Table 1).
  13. References:
    References should be printed together at the end of the manuscript using EndNote with numbered styles. References that illustrated are referred with numbers within square brackets and the references are listed in a numbered reference list after the text. References are numbered in the order of Alpha-beta as follows:

  15. Abstract:
    All manuscripts should start with a summary of no more than 200 words written in lowercase letters size 11 pt., and should fit well with the title of the manuscript and summarize the research objective, content, results and conclusions.
  16. Keywords:
    Abstract of the manuscript should be with three up to eight keywords related to the main topic of research written in lowercase letters size 10.
